Her passion for missions has led her to also avidly serve in foreign missions projects in Africa, Mexico and Haiti. She has been married for 21 years, the mother of one, and grandmother to 4 – this is her joy! She also has a passion for fishing, camping, outdoors and spoiling her grand kids! She is always there to help guide and direct those around her as she shares the light of Jesus wherever she goes.

  • Praise & Worship Music led by Laney Wootten

Laney is most often described by this one word-“anointed”. Her voice is passionate, engaging, and silky, yet gutsy. Her love for Jesus will splash onto you as you listen to her sing. When you talk to her, you will know that she loves people, too. She has had the privilege of leading worship throughout the United States. Laney leads worship each Sunday at Mobberly Baptist Church― Marshall campus. Laney is married to her guitar playing husband, Jon and is mother to 5 beautiful children.

Mission Emphasis: “ W o r d s  o f  L i f e ”  Let’s celebrate by giving Bibles and Bound Notebooks (9.75”X7.5”) to help men and women in CELEBRATE RECOVERY learn more about Jesus and His life changing truths. So bring your favorite version and give them the Word of Life! If you would like to give a Bible in honor of someone dear to you, please write on a note card and place in front of the Bible. Praise God for His Word of Life to each one of us!
