Dr. Roc Collins is a former president of the Tennessee Baptist Convention, and served as senior pastor of Indian Springs Baptist Church in Kingsport for 11 years. Collins is a graduate of Carson-Newman University, Jefferson City, and holds the master of divinity and doctor of philosophy degrees from New Orleans (La.) Baptist Theological Seminary.
In addition to Indian Springs, Collins has served as pastor of Briar Thicket Baptist Church in Bybee, Tenn.; First Baptist Church, Gate City, Va.; Memorial Baptist Church, Bogalusa, La.; and Berwick Baptist Church, Liberty, Miss. He also served as staff evangelist of two churches in Mississippi and Louisiana.

Pastor Scott graduated from the Eldorado High School System in 1972. He accepted his call into the ministry in January 1973 and was licensed at the Lily of the Valley Baptist Church of Houston, TX by Rev. J. B. Bolton. He was ordained as a Minister in April 1984 at Blueridge Baptist Church of Houston by Rev. Doctor Wilson Duke Richardson. He is a former student of Mt. Hope Biblical College, Houston, Texas and American Baptist College-Nashville, Tennessee-Southeast Extension. 

In June 2019 Pastor Scott celebrated 30 years of ministry at Eastern Star. He is currently the President of the newly developed Concerned Pastors’ of Port Arthur, a board member of Weed and Seed Redevelopment Steering Committee, NAACP, a board member S.E.T.I.O (Hurricane Rita disaster recovery), board member of Samaritan Counseling, Inc., and Chaplain of the Port Arthur Police Department.

 Pastor Scott loves to cook.  He cooks and caters for family and friends functions. His specialties include: gumbo, crawfish, fried chicken and fish, oxtail, greens, and almost anything you can think of.  He also makes a mean peach cobber and sweet potato pie!  He is truly a person with meals on wheels.

 Pastor Scott has been married to Hope Winifred Myles Scott since May of 1977. They have four children and eleven grandchildren.

Dr. Ergun Caner, 52, is founder and president of the Center of Global Apologetics in Weatherford, Texas. Raised as a devout Sunni Muslim along with his two brothers, Caner converted in high school. After his conversion, he pursued his call to the ministry and education. For the past 20 years, he has served as either president or Vice President of three Baptist colleges and seminaries. Along with his brother Emir, he has cowritten 24 books in eleven languages. He lives in Hudson Oaks, Texas with his son Drake (age 14). He has a Masters degree from The Criswell College, a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Theology from the University of South Africa.
